“elements in balance” – the color blocks ist eine vierteilige unterserie der hauptserie „elements in balance“ und konzentriert sich auf klare farbflächen und reduzierte kompositionen. farbe wird als zentrales element eingesetzt und erzeugt durch ihr zusammenspiel mit fläche und proportion ein ausgewogenes gesamtbild. die horizontale linie bleibt als verbindendes element bestehen und bringt ruhe und struktur in die komposition. die arbeiten bewegen sich in phasen, in denen balance nicht leise entsteht, sondern bewusst gesetzt wird – durch abgrenzung, kontrast und klare entscheidungen. gegensätze stehen nebeneinander, behaupten ihren raum und finden darin gleichgewicht.

about Verena Joist

Verena's works combine modern, minimalist aesthetics with the beauty of nature – especially sunsets and the sea. She has lived in Hamburg for four and a half years and has discovered art as a side profession.

Using intense acrylic paints, clean lines, and minimalist forms, she creates abstract art that blends harmoniously into diverse spaces and opens up new perspectives. Each piece leaves room for individual interpretation. She has already completed several commissions and participated in exhibitions.
