"elements in balance" – the color blocks is a four-part subseries of the main series "elements in balance" and focuses on clear color fields and reduced compositions. the green color is used as a central element and creates a balanced overall picture through its interaction with surface and proportion. the horizontal line remains as a connecting element and brings calm and structure to the composition. the works move in phases where balance is not quietly created, but consciously set – through demarcation, contrast, and clear decisions. opposites stand side by side, assert their space, and find equilibrium therein.
